Policies

  • Please be respectful of our time as we are a by-appointment business.

No-Shows & Canceling/Rescheduling within 1 hour of your appointment will result in a fee of the full price of the service booked.

Canceling/Rescheduling within 24 hours will result in a $25 fee charged at the time of cancellation

Clients 15 (or more) minutes late risk losing their appointment and being charged a no-show fee. However, if we can still service your pet there will be a $25 late fee added

We are not a Daycare facility and cannot facilitate Daycare time and attention to your dog.

If your dog is not picked up 45 minutes after our second phone call OR after our closing time of 5 p.m., a daycare fee of $30 (per 30 minutes if after closing) will be added to the total service price.

If you need to leave your pet for longer than 5 hours please let us know and the price will decrease to a single $15 add on.

  • Per Washington State law your pet needs to be vaccinated against Rabies.

We require proof of Rabies and Bordetella vaccination before your appointment.

If your dog can not be vaccinated due to a reaction we require a document from your vet stating so.

We require vet approval for serious or life-threatening health conditions.

We offer express services for those who want their dogs done quickly. This will result in an added fee of $20 for small dogs and $30 for large dogs.

  • We understand that matting happens but we urge you to be proactive and keep your pups on a schedule.

If requested and we feel we can brush out matting there is an extra charge of $30 for every 15 minutes of brushing.

If shaving is deemed necessary we will contact you and ask permission before moving forward.
Our staff reserve the right to turn you away if they feel it is necessary.

Dogs with matted coats need extra attention during their grooming session.

Mats left in a dog's coat will only grow tighter and can strangle the dog's skin or eventually tear it open. Matting can also trap moisture and urine near the dog's skin allowing mold, fungus, or bacteria to grow, causing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process.

After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, and failure of the hair to regrow.

  • We have zero tolerance for rude or disrespectful behavior from clients, this behavior will result in a permanent ban from our business and you will be asked to leave the building.

We work very hard to provide great experiences and quality services. We deserve to be treated with respect.

FAQs

  • No, we use special shampoos & conditioners to ensure the hair is clean. Clipping ‘dirty’ hair puts wear and tear on our equipment and can lead to an uneven haircut!

If the hair is not properly prepped it can be more time consuming to groom.

  • We do our best to get your pet’s nails as short as possible during their service. There are many factors from your pet’s behavior to the length of their quicks that can prohibit us from doing so.

  • Prices are subject to change from each appointment. Some price-altering factors include but aren’t limited to coat condition, size of pet, and behavior.

  • Yes, filling out our intake form is the only way to ensure you have an appointment booked with us.

We require all dogs be up to date on their rabies vaccine pre WA state law.
